Throckley Magpies Junior Football Club was formed in 1992 with only one team. Throckley being a small village on the West edge of the Newcastle City boundary, we choose the black and white strip, the same as our beloved Newcastle United FC.

We are now trying to run at least 8 teams every season with children aged from 6 years old to 16 years old and are affiliated to the Northumberland FA West Division.

We have competed in the Newcastle Mini Soccer League, Tynedale Mini Soccer League and The NABC Leagues during our short existence.  Last season we had over 100 children representing our club.

We have a tremendous team of volunteers who form our committee and coaching staff, all of which is unpaid and is very much appreciated, as without the contribution of their valuable time and effort there would be no Throckley Magpies JFC.

The club as a whole and this website have been generated by parents and interested parties who's help is making a major difference to the children of our area.

We take major pride in helping young persons to develop personal skills, health benefits through fitness and respect of others via team activities.

Our aim is to become a FA Charter Standard Club by the end of this season.
