Overall was a good performance from the lads, some frustrating decisions from the ref but we still keapt our heads, well some of us, and battled to the end! Several penatly decisions turned down, and we finally got our chance in the last minute from the spot but Connor Patton was unlucky not to score. We were clearly the better team second half and should keep our heads up from this!

From being 3-1 down with 7minutes left and losing 6-3 this is totally unacceptable. I have spoke before about backing off players, especially with the quality of the number 17 but again this is what we did. Dont give players like this anytime on the ball at all, and they wont get the chance to hurt us. Apart from the last 7minutes, however.. our performance was extemely good until we switched back to a 4-4-2. We should definately keep our heads heald high, we were the better team by far and that should be a lesson to us.
Lets go to Tynemouth with heads held high and get our season started!
